The new Industrial Conservative Initiative program for 2017 has expanded so that more industrial customers would qualify for substantial breaks in their electricity bills. Additionally, residential and small businesses are now eligible for a 17% cut on their electricity bills this summer.
However, what happens to those who fall short of qualifying for the expanded industrial program and the 17% rebate? For those stuck in the middle, the government is shifting some programs to support these companies by deducting two to four percent off their bills.
