North American power grids are facing a risky summer and an even riskier winter, according to analyses by the North American Electric Reliability Corp. (NERC), the agency that oversees grid reliability and security.
“More demand response and other distributed energy resources are desperately needed to shore up reliability,” stated Rodan Energy CEO Paul Grod.
