Rodan Energy CEO Paul Grod spoke at the Annual Ontario Energy Association Conference in Toronto, September 11, 2013 on the topic of “CAPACITY, ENERGY AND FLEXIBILITY – The Right Mix for the Ontario Power System.” The presentation addressed how Ontario’s power system needs these essential resources and how should they be sourced and purchased. In his remarks, Grod outlined to what extent can the demand side play more of a role than it traditionally has in Ontario’s supply mix. As Ontario moves forward with its next Long-Term Energy Plan review, Grod emphasized how it must focus on a sustainable energy economy – one that is reliable, environmentally sustainable and cost effective.
