The Minister of Sustainable Development, Environment and the Fight against Climate Change, David Heurtel, announced the government’s adoption of a QuĆ©bec greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction target of 37.5% below 1990 levels by 2030. Just a few days away from the Paris Climate Conference where a new global climate agreement will be negotiated, QuĆ©bec has again demonstrated its leadership by unveiling the most ambitious target in Canada.
